The 2017 public examination results at Dr Challoner’s were excellent once again. At A Level 52% of entries were graded A* or A, with 23% being As. 75% of grades were at least grade B. 56 students achieved a clean sweep of A and A grades, while 7 were rewarded with all A* grades.
At GCSE 81% of students achieved at least 5 passes graded A or A*, or 7 or better (the equivalent to an A or better in English and Maths). Our Attainment-8 score was 74.1, while our Progress-8 score was +0.84, putting usin the top 12% of schools nationally.
