The 2019 public examination results at Dr Challoner’s were excellent once again. At A Level 84.3% of the entries were graded A- B, with 57.3% being A or A. Nearly a quarter of entries were graded A, while 76 students achieved A or A grades in all their subjects. 8 students obtained four or more A* grades.
The new GCSEs are awarded on a scale of 9-1, with the new grade 9 being harder to achieve than the old A* grade. 77% of students secured at least 5 grades at 7 or better, of whom 40 scored a clean sweep of grades at this level, while 50% of grades were 8 or 9.Full 2019 GCSE and A Level resultsDepartment for Education School Performance Tables
