Three of our Rock Club bands performed at the Seer Green Beer & Music Festival on Saturday, 23 September.
Year 8 band, The Titans, played a great set including a fabulous rendition of Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode. Mercury, a Year 11 band, played some superb rock covers including Black Sabbath's 'Paranoid'. Crows & Arrows, also a Year 11 band, played the festival for the second time with a set including many of their original songs and some pop and rock classics - their cover of Taylor Swift's 'State of Grace' was a definite crowd pleaser!
The festival gave the bands an amazing opportunity to play a great venue and to perform for a fantastic audience - in fact it was such a popular event that tickets were completely sold out! DCGS Rock Club was delighted to be able to be involved with this annual event that raises money for the local Scout group's community hall.
