This 'blistering character study' and an examination of the clash between the American cultural and judicial contexts is as relevant today as when it was written in 1955. A taut, engrossing drama in which eleven jurors believe the defendant in a capital murder trial is guilty, while one juror stands up courageously for what he believes is justice. Showing American society at its best - and worst - Rose exposes the layers of bias and prejudice - sometimes unconscious - at the heart of the human experience, and challenges us to examine some profound moral questions.

An incredibly talented Sixth Form cast will perform Rose's iconic courtroom drama on Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th November 2023 in the Studio. Directed and produced by the students themselves, this is a wonderful opportunity to witness first-class talent and enjoy a hugely entertaining production.
