At DCGS we are proud of our students and their achievements and know that in order to help them to fulfil their potential that they need and deserve the very best facilities for teaching and learning. Over the last two decades we have transformed our facilities for Sixth Form Study, the Arts and Sport and it is now the right time to address the shortcomings of our Chemistry facilities to benefit future generations of DCGS students. The value of science and research is something which has been highlighted to us in recent months and we need to ensure that future scientists have the very best start to their scientific careers with excellent facilities in the classroom.
With only three Chemistry laboratories for a school of 1300 students, we are unable to teach all science lessons in specialist facilities. It is our vision to ensure that all science teaching takes place in the best possible spaces to inspire our students and encourage them to follow their dreams. Our plans see the construction of two new Chemistry labs, together with the refurbishment and remodelling of the existing three laboratories, staff work areas and preparation rooms, resulting in a Suite of Chemistry facilities which are able to nurture and develop the scientists of the future.
We urgently need your support to bring these exciting plans into reality and ensure that students have new, state-of-the art facilities as soon as possible. If you would like to make a one-off gift via debit or credit card, please do so using the link above.
