Dusty Roses and Second Faith entertain at Amersham Football Festival
The annual King's Church Amersham FC Football Festival, held on Saturday 5thJuly, saw two of our fabulous Rock Club Bands perform during the lunch interval, entertaining players and parents from the 55 teams who attended.
Second Faith (Year 9/10) gave a fun and energetic performance of classic songs including 'Jump' (Van Halen), 'She Sells Sanctuary' (The Cult) and festival classics, 'She Bangs The Drums' (The Stone Roses) and 'Can't Stop' (Red Hot Chilli Peppers). Year 10 band, Dusty Roses, followed this with an excellent set featuring Radiohead's 'Just' and 'Paranoid Android', 'Today' (Smashing Pumpkins), 'Plug In Baby' (Muse) and more, finishing with a phenomenal performance of 'Square Hammer' (Ghost).
This was a wonderful opportunity for both bands to play sets in an outside school environment and was thoroughly enjoyed by all those participating and watching.
