DCGS English and Drama introduces our poetry competition for 2020….
• A competition for all year groups
• A prize for the winner in each age group (year 7&8, year 9&10, years 11-13) and a house point for each entry
• HOUSE COMPETITION - house points will also be awarded for the most entries per form, per year group!
• Publication in Ad Astra school magazine
In these unprecedented times, we would like you to write a poem about your experience of being in lockdown.
The poem should be no more than 30 lines. It can be in any form you choose but you might like to try spoken word poetry, some free verse or even a haiku!

The deadline for submission is Friday 15th May by 5pm
Judges will include Mrs Adi (Team Leader for English and Drama), Mrs Rodgers (Assistant Headteacher) and senior Prefects: Issy Swann, Ollie Ensor and Emmanuel de Vidal.
