The Challoner’s sailing club season 2009 to 10 finished with a flourish. Ninety three students and staff started their summer holiday with a week on the waters of the Solent. From total beginners to students taking their Dinghy Instructors’ course, they all got out there under the thrilling power of nature’s wind.

This season over 320 students have sailed on a Challoner’s residential trip. Everyone returns to shore with a collection of tales from the sea that are told and retold!

Plans for the 2010 to 11 season include another Day Skipper Theory course over 40 hours being run by Mrs Keen ,year 7 Enrichment (in only a few weeks time) and the Easter and July 2011 trips for which brochures will be available in October from Mr England and Mrs Black.. It promises to be an exciting year and students should look out for details covering these events.
