The House Competition started in earnest in September with the Cross Country Competitions. The turnout was incredible with over 80% of students from Years 7-11 taking part. Year 7 and 8 looked fantastic in their House-Coloured polo shirts and congratulations to the following winners: Tommy Taylor (Y7), Theo Kontos (Y8), Joe Tunney (Y9) and Andrew Stenning (Y11.

The range of competitions this year means that there is something for everyone and in this half term we have also had Badminton, Orienteering, Basketball, Sailing and the ever popular House Drama. The overall competition has Rayner taking an early lead with Foxell and Thorne close behind. Last year’s winners Pearson have got off to a slow start and currently lie in fifth place.

Next half term sees the ever competitive Football along with House Song, and new for this year: House Darts.
