Stakes were high at DCGS on Wednesday 14th October as Year 10 Business students ventured into 'The Dragons' Den'.

With Global Enterprise Week looming on the horizon (16th - 20th November), the students presented their business ideas to five senior executives from local businesses. The Dragons, who so generously donated their time to provide feedback and encouragement, were: Susan Lock (KeyCon Management Consultants), John Salako (UBM PLC), Debra Mayfield (DML Marketing) Julian Percy (CliniMed) and Owen Hughes (EWO Ltd). Susan Lock had previously spent an afternoon training the teams on their presentation skills and was there to witness the high standards they achieved.

Following the event Debra Mayfield wrote to comment on the boys' performance 'It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for me and I came away hugely impressed by the calibre, confidence and enthusiasm of the boys – you must be very proud of their achievements.' Congratulations to all and we look forward to Global Enterprise Week with great anticipation.
