On Wednesday the 24th of November, Dr Challoner’s Grammar and High Schools came together at the Amersham Free Church to perform a wide variety of musical entertainment for parents and visitors.

As only part of the Joint Schools’ Orchestra, it was incredibly amazing to see so many people with such musical talent. The difference in musical experiences was astounding, ranging from flutes, guitars, violins, saxophones and even singers!

In addition to solo performances, guests were able to enjoy group performances by Guitar Ensemble, DCGS and DCHS String Ensemble, the Joint Schools' Orchestra, the DCGS Sixth Form Chamber Choir, the Joint School Choir and even a Show Choir, singing popular songs such as "Let it be" by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and "Since You Been Gone" by Martin Sandberg and Lukasz Gottwald.

All in all, it was an incredible opportunity to both perform and witness this concert, and I would like to thank Mr Tansley, Mrs Anstey, as well as the music directors at the girls school, and the administration, for all their help in making this concert a success.
