This year has marked Mr Burn's seventh year as the form tutor of 7 Pearson, which means at this point in time, every member of Pearson House across the whole school has been tutored by him. For this achievement a photograph was arranged of Mr Burn and all of the 210 Pearson students that he helped settle into their first year at Challoner's.
Mr Burn has offered me and every other Pearson a welcoming and supportive introduction to the school.
Mr Burn’s caring and compassionate attitude, coupled with an outstanding sense of humour, have made him the ideal form tutor for any Year 7 student, and all 210 students he has tutored over the last seven years are all very grateful for the effort he put into making their first year at Challoner's a year to remember.
Our thanks go to Mr. Burn, from all in Pearson, for the work he has done with Year 7 forms over the years, and will hopefully continue to do long into the future.
From writing a book in which each chapter was based off a suggestion from a member of the class, to running the very popular table gaming club, to supervising the development and running of this very website, Mr Burn has proved himself to be one of the most involved teachers in the school. Here's to another seven years!
