On Thursday the 24th of March eighteen boys from Dr Challoner’s turned their classrooms into news headquarters for the day, collecting stories, conducting interviews and editing together all the footage to produce a short news programme by the national deadline of 2pm.

We were fighting for the opportunity to get the programme shown on BBC TV and with 30,000 students all competing for the same honour. It wasn’t going to be easy, the students (and staff) put in a huge effort with a focussed goal, managing to complete the task within the time set.
