The process of applying to university is a long drawn out and competitive one, and as the academic year progresses it is possible to report on different students’ successes.
At this time of year we hear the outcome of applications to Oxford and Cambridge and are delighted to say that a record 28 students have gained offers from one of these universities. 17 students have offers from Oxford to study Chemistry, Economics & Management, EEM (Engineering, Economics & Management), Geography, History & Economics, History & English, Law, Mathematics, Mathematics & Philosophy and Physics.
Meanwhile 11 offers from Cambridge have been received for students to study Asian & Middle Eastern Studies, Economics, Engineering, English, German & Russian, History, HSPS (Human, Social & Political Science), Mathematics, Natural Science and Philosophy.
Their success is testament to their long term commitment and enthusiasm for academic study. These characteristics are shared by a large number of our A level students and, although many universities have yet to release their decisions, many students already have offers from a wide range of excellent universities.
This is as a consequence of the hard work they have invested in their education and good decisions that they have made, skills that will prove very valuable to them in the future.
Later in the year we will be able to update you about further successes as we more universities publish their decisions.
