Thirty eight students spent time at the start of December 2011 with their exchange families in Amersham’s twin town of Bensheim which is situated in Hessen, Germany.

The Year 10 German language students took the opportunity to learn about the many aspects of German culture during a variety of visits, as well as improving their German and building relationships with their exchange partners.

Having enjoyed their host’s kind hospitality, the students returned to England very pleased with the progress they had made and now look forward to welcoming their new friends back to Buckinghamshire in the summer term. Our thanks go to Mr Childs and his colleague in Germany, Frau Dasbach, for their continued hard work in organising these visits.
