Four of our Rock Club bands recently entered Bucks Music Trust's annual 'Battle of the Bands' competition. The auditions attracted many talented young musicians from across Buckinghamshire. Our two new Year 7 bands, Hazard and Bio Hazard, both entered. Hazard performed a moving rendition of Ellie Goulding's How Long Will I Love You, whilst Bio Hazard gave a rousing performance of the Bon Jovi classic, Living on a Prayer, complete with audience participation! Wildfire, a Year 10 band, entered with Dire Strait's Sultans of Swing, whilst Crows & Arrows (also Year 10) performed their latest original, Another Heartbreak Song.
It was a great opportunity for all our bands to perform in front of an audience, meet other young musicians and gain helpful feedback from the judging panel.
We're delighted that Crows & Arrows have been selected for the final which will be held at the Old Townhall in High Wycombe on Saturday, 4th March.
