Students at Dr Challoner’s Grammar School achieved exceptional results in their A-level exams with 85.4% of entries being graded B or better, and over 24% of the entries achieving the top A* grade, up from 20% last year. This makes 2011 our best ever year at A-level.

Two students achieved a remarkable 6 A* grades: Timothy Davis of Great Missenden and Kabir Babber of Little Chalfont. In addition, 52 students were awarded A* or A grades in all the subjects that they studied and 25 students achieved 3 A* grades or better.

We continue to achieve excellent results for the new top A* grade, and remarkably have improved on our performance last year. In an increasingly competitive environment we are glad that so many of our students have achieved the grades they need to progress to their first choice University course.

We would also like to record our thanks to the staff who work tirelessly to help each student achieve his best and congratulate all the students, wishing them well for the future.
