As the school moves into the new technological age, and learning comes online, some systems in the school have begun to show their age. This includes the main hall’s sound system, which with the upcoming senior play The Crucible and musical The Boyfriend, the existing system would have struggled delivering the desired depth and crispness of sound.
The new system, lovingly installed by Mr Elderfield and his team over the half term, will achieve a fuller and more powerful sound, while an entirely new mixing and amp system allows an easier, seamless method for mixing everything from songs to instruments to microphones. The new system has been calibrated so that the sound travels at different times from the front and rear speakers to allowed a perfect audio experience sitting anywhere in the room. This new instalment will keep the audio in the school up to date for years to come - that sounds good to me.
